My wife and I heard Kevin Kaarl for the first time on a trip to the Texas Mountains/Desert, not knowing this guy was from Chihuahua, just across from where we were. Since then his songs have become our playlist when road tripping. His music is essentially a combination of the spirit of wanderlust and adventure but also of the melancholy and mundane.

I didn’t knew Kevin until today. My favourites bands in the world are Mumford and Sons and Bon Iver and I speak Spanish so you can imagine what I felt listening to this guy. Absolutely amazed.

This blew me away! Unlike anyone I've heard before. Sort of a Mexican sounding Wilco and Drive By Truckers by way of Mexico. Loved every minute of this. Definitly gonna look him up on Spotify. ❤

It took about a minute in before I went and started adding this artist to playlists. Can't wait to explore his music.

I couldn’t make it past the first song of this set. I restarted it back like 7 times before I let it play all the way through. Another amazing Tiny Desk!

I’ve been listing to this song for weeks now, wasn’t until I read the lyrics that I broke down in tears for hours today.. it resonated so deeply to my lost love that I struggle to listen to it now without pain but it comes from a place of love and that is good enough for me to consider it healing..

Esos géneros llevan bastantes años en México te podría decir que hasta en inicios de los años 1900 estaban, pero los exponentes de ese entonces no eran tan famosos ya que los mexicanos de antes preferían escuchar musica ranchera.

Estos panas dan unos showsazos espectaculares, de verdad, es imposible no disfrutar cada nota y melodía de cada canción, eso no lo hace cualquiera

Su voz por si sola es tambien un instrumento.. sumamente agradable este tiny
