I keep coming back to this video. Mount Kimbie will always be one of my faves as, like bands such as Radiohead, they change each song up when performing it. So fresh so clean ...
This version of Maybes is wonderful.

and I looking for Anthony Hopkins.....
This is something way beyond dubstep. Hip-hop like beat, highly sampled. Deep electro/hypnotic is what I would call this.
I pray they get more recognition. they are sooooo good at what they do
It was a symphony of precision and artistry. A flawless performance! ❤
I love this, because it is so unique. You don't come across such an amazing spectrum of sounds like this every day :) These guys are like the Pink Floyd of electronica.
i discovered these guys tonight listening to my dubstep file and these people were just a random couple songs. i listened liked it, checked u tube, after a couple liked alot, then found this i fuckin love it. massive respect to them
Can't express how much I love these. Really nice set.
As soon as 1:21 kicks in, it's so colorful and warm and breathtaking. I didn't know how to react. Lovely.
that's how electronics should be operated. that's how you play your music with them. live shit. big ups for you guys.
I love these guys
love how chilled the kaoss pad is as well
watched this so many times, might be the most amazing thing ever done. M.K
Wish he sung like this on the studio version. So much melody!
Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! ♥ ♥ ♥
Thank you for uploading this and don´t EVER take it down again please ! *
how is it that I always find out that artists i come to love are all in some way on NPR music, seriously, NPR has good fucking taste
Life changing.
Simply amazing..
Yes!
So my daughter was going to see STS9 one weekend and she said they were going to play an acoustic show. My wife and I couldn't help ourselves. We both asked, "What are the going to do unplug the computers?" She was not impressed, although I am every time she says hey check this out.
this is beyond brilliant
SIMPLY ♥ MOUNT KIMBIE...
@ramirythm that's your opinion. you obviously just dont get it. I love Mount kimbie! thanks for the upload @nprmusic really great!
Every electronic act moves to warp when they grow up.
ah, no wonder. the words of the young and inspired. good luck on your musical ventures
haha jesus christ, I had this playing in itunes preview and didnt know it, about 5 seconds behind this. I was thinking "how is it so chaotic but controlled?" Actually sounded really good.
Yeah! The great Jon Hopkins attending the performance! What the hell! What a man!

It's amazing to see them actually playing it ! Field is just great, they make it look so easy.
Can't wait to see these doods in Detroit 2024, les go!
@warmsparrow1 The thing he's hitting with the drumsticks is a Roland SPD-S sample pad, the thing he's triggering with his fingers is a Roland SP-555.
In love❤
Oblique Strategies @11:41 Nice!!!
Buenisimos!!
sick!
i want to hold mount kimbie's hand as we walk through a park and contemplate how even though it sucks that people move on, life is somehow really worth it because of the potential to react to the challenges that change brings.
DOPE!
awesome'
Currently crying into my breakfast
Poderoso!
they will have their second LP sewn up over the next couple of months, with a release on Warp next year.
I concur
That second track almost reminds me of the kind of ambient stuff that Deftones puts into a lot of their songs.
@benoblest 140 bpm is generally used when making dubstep because it allows more flexibility when programming drums, especially when adding faster hi-hats. At 140 bpm the kick/snare will alternate every other measure while at 70 it will alternate every one. 140 bpm definitely is not "wrong". Though Mount Kimbie isn't dubstep, it has influences of it as I've heard it considered "post-dubstep".
Here after there newest drop🔥🔥🔥
So fucking good please release more!
2:05 ''Doomsday" :)
i swear i heard their new albums out this year, fingers crossed
