I saw her in concert once and I distinctly remember there being these few guys who were just standing around in the crowd at the beginning, but by like the fourth song they were jumping like a couple of girls at a Justin Bieber concert lol she just puts out a fun energy that's so hard to resist

Just saw this, but I felt the exact same! Huge hip-hop head and Carly Rae has made some of the best music i have ever heard, addicted to it!

i’ve been to many concerts and carly’s concert was by far the best concert i’ve ever been to. her energy is just so magical and fun and i would recommend seeing her live if you ever get the chance

@@whoiskeasha I have! Dedicated was my soundtrack to summer 2019. Like the last pre-pandemic summer of freedom ever 🤣. I just relistened and I think maybe I'm just being thrown by the key change. I think with Now That I Found You at least it's a half step or a few half steps down from the original and the harmonies sound darker, but upon relistening they are definitely on key, just different. It does sound good...but something. I think there's just some like minor chords hidden in there that are coming out in this performance.

I love how much she digs the groove of the song. She almost conducts the band with her hand movements.

“Im like a lighthouse, I’m a reminder, of where you going” they way she plays with her infliction and the delivery of certain words is such a minute but huge detail in a lot of her songs…soft voice for big feelings

If anyone needs proof that she's talented listen to anything off of Emotion

Emotion is a fun and amazing album, but I think her talent really shines on Dedicated a lot more.

i really would have liked to hear Julien, such an excellent track to open a very good pop album. People need to see past her radio hit and give her pop a chance. She's an amazing artist!

Watching this everyday for spritual, mental and physical healing

So I'm old and a dude and pop music isn't always my first choice, but I've been watching this lady since "Call Me Maybe" and she just kills it. Fun, real, super talented. Makes me happy. Why don't we hear more about her and her music? Love what she does.

She's such an amazing singer and performer but also that band backing her is incredible. They're all loving what they do.

I would love to see her do a new tiny desk after her most recent album The Loneliest Time.

When she ended that first song, I heard this clapping sound in my room and realized it was me. Seriously.

I love the NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert so much. I've lived for a long time as forgetting this. A few days ago, I suddenly realized the fact that I used to enjoy the Tiny Desk Concert. We don't get a chance to listen to these amazing music every day. Please keep it up until I die.

I don't know why I have such a fascination with CRJ . Love her confidence and that she really comes alive when singing. She's so awesome.

This shows how commercial considerations can obscure real talent. She’s way better than the radio version.

What are you on about? Shes made two of the greatest pop albums of the decade. And the production on both of those are phenomenall. Etherway she sounds great in here too.

She's really happily singing, her joy radiated and caught myself smiling the whole video.

One of my favorite things a performer can do is smile through a performance, it's such a joy to see someone do something they love.

I love her and her happy disposition with all my heart.

Never gave her the time of day and I’m so glad that TD had her on and that I listened. Definitely a fan now.

Did you think she was a pop singer that made it big with a single? I did. But, then I watched her performance at the Tiny Desk and she has changed my perspective. Of all the Tiny Desk Concerts I have seen, this is the only one that fundamentally changed how I view the artist. And that's what a good performance should do.

I love the way that she really pushes her voice to the edge of breaking. She just barely hits the notes on the chorus of Don't Give it Up, but that is what makes it so awesome. Great execution of a difficult song.
