I was in tears during "Lay Me Down". SO moving and beautiful!! I had the privilege of seeing Sam and company in concert when they were in Portland Oregon in August 2023. I am STILL smiling and even more in love with their songs!! Beautiful. Thank you for all the beautiful work! (my favorite is STILL "Love Me More", not performed in concert but I love the message).

This is an amazing concert--everyone was wonderful. Also, I loved how at the end, Sam gestured to one of the singers to include the piano player in the hug. This group has great energy, vocals, and on top of everything--seems to really care about each other. Also, Sam is amazing--those vocals!

How do you sleep is quite possibly one of the best vocal performances I have ever heard in my life. Sam is always on point, but the choir behind him is un-friggin-believable. I must've watched it 100+ times today alone. They are perfection

What an awesome performance. The pianist and the soulful choir were amazing!

This is definitely my favorite artist to be featured in tiny desk concert! I love how he engage to the whole singers. Such a private concert with high quality singers.

The arrangement was 🔥. It was simple and just allowed everyone’s voices to shine. Sam Smith never disappoints.

Sam needs an acoustic album. If you haven't listened to some of the acoustic versions of his first album I suggest you do. His voice is impeccable. Absolutely LOVED this session. The singers did their thing.

All that is good and beautiful in the world just came together in this video. I love my heart bursting open in TD sessions, I adore quality choirs, Sam is a precious treasure, if we’d all connect on this level the world would be such a better place.

The duet for Lay Me Down isn’t getting enough credit. Their voices compliment eachother perfectly!

Wow miss LaDonna Harley-Peters. I don't think I've ever heard Lay Me Down sound so good coming from someone other than Sam. What a voice!

Why this is extra special and beautiful? Not just they are all very very talented. It’s because everyone is just authentic and enjoying their performance. You can feel that they love what they do that you want to go inside the screen and join the jam and just vibe with them.

Love the pianist’s play in unholy! Love the duet in lay me down and the gospel/choir is really something else. One of the best desks ever!

This whole mini concert is SUCH A VIBE. From Sam’s amazing vocals to that beast of a choir and the beautiful pianist. Even the guitarist, they were all so in sync with eachother! Whew ima need a part 2 y’all! ❤

Lay Me Down always gets me. Sams voice is beautiful but Ladonnas was pure confort. Then the HARMONY....an the piano kicked up... choir started... Id loop that alone a good hour EASY. My God.

Tiny desk, like why aren’t you putting these up as tracks to listen to on like Spotify or something, you get the best live versions of everything I BEED TO LISTEN TO THEM CONSTANTLY!

Truly one of the best performances on Tiny Desk. The chemistry between Sam and this exceptional choir is absolutely heavenly. I was in tears listening to Lay Me Down. LaDonna is incredible. Sam is one of those artists who makes it look so effortless. He's amazing. Watching him and his choir in bed on a Friday afternoon made me so so happy. Much love to each and everyone of you.
